“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.”

First of all, a big thank you to all of you who checked out my Goggins video last week. It quickly became the biggest video on the channel and the first one to cross 1,000 views.
It’s a weird world we operate in with all those different social media platforms. A couple of weeks back I posted a thread that got 1.9m eyes on it. But somehow the YouTube views are so much more meaningful. (I guess because it is so personal and time-intensive to produce)
Now I wanted to let you in on some upcoming changes here, some updates and plans for the year ahead.
First of all, this newsletter will be moving away from Substack again.
It’s been a great experience and I do like the community aspect of it, however, I am planning on offering more for new and old subscribers over the course of the year that I cannot do with this platform.
There’s nothing you need to do and I will let you know when the switch will be made in the next weeks.
I’m very excited to have finished my book now, which I will send out for free to all of you once it’s finalised!
In terms of other content, I am planning on focusing more on videos going forwards, through a mix of both experience-based content and also to capture some of the exciting adventures I have planned for the year.
First up will be a winter ascent of the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, in February. It will be interesting to see how different the mountain looks compared to my last visit in September!
Next up will be a double Ultra-marathon in April on the Isle of Arran. I will travel to the island on Friday, run the southern half in a 30-mile loop on Saturday and then run the northern half 30-mile loop on Sunday.
And all this is only prep for the main event for this half of 2024: the half Celtman (Extreme Triathlon) in the Scottish Highlands in June.
My aim is to document the preparations for all of these events, but not focus solely on fitness but a more holistic aspect, i.e. how I prepare for these events amongst business and family commitments.
I’m very excited about the coming weeks and months and I hope my content that I will produce in the process will be of value to you.
And if you’d like to read a bit more about my reflections on running 4 miles every 4 hours for 100 miles, please head over here:

And in case you have not watched the video yet, please do give it a go, the feedback has been so much better than I had hoped for:
