“Fathering is not something perfect men do, but something that perfects the man.”
Frank Pittman
An exciting milestone: we have a book cover!
With my previous book, Ketoko, I was fortunate enough to be working with two amazingly creative friends so I did not need to worry about covers, designs, etc.
With the Hybrid Dad Blueprint I did not want to go with just a stock image or trying my own hand at creating a cover. Because not only would it have taken a ton of time, but the effort spent on it would have resulted in a mediocre (at best) design. So I hired a designer over at Fiverr, gave him some suggestions and shared some book covers I thought went in the direction I wanted to take it and then 2 days later, voila:
What do you think?
And to give you a bit more insight into the basic premise of the book, here’s a short extract:
The Triquetra: A Symbol for Modern Fatherhood
There is perhaps no symbol that encapsulates the essence of the Hybrid Dad better than the Triquetra.
Its three interconnected points represent the critical areas of our lives - family, work, and personal pursuits - bound together in a continuous shape that suggests both individuality and unity.
The encompassing circle highlights the holistic nature of our existence, a reminder that these aspects are not separate but parts of a single, indivisible life.
By adopting this ancient emblem, we acknowledge the importance of striving for excellence in all facets of our existence, understanding that harmony in these areas leads to a richer, more meaningful experience.
I’m planning to have the book out in December and my aim is to share it with you all for free.

This week I continued creating content also for my YouTube channel.
And to let you in on a little secret, for now I am using my blog posts as inspiration to talk in more depth about various topics which I hope provide some practical tips to busy parents (or anyone really for that matter).
When it come to creating Thumbnails for the videos, I like to use personal photos that fit the topic. Like this one from a few years back when we travelled to Australia and one of our kids just went to sleep on a park bench:
And now I’m off to Christmas Market nr. 1 for the weekend, this one back at work. And then onto setting up for market nr. 2 at our kids’ school.
After a week of sitting in meetings all day, and the busy prep for the markets, we are all looking forward to Sunday and then to a trip up North next week. This time last year we were enjoying an amazing outing amongst the reindeers:
